The rule
A licensee must ensure that employees serve patrons solely from within the perimeters of the sidewalk cafe or roadway cafe. Furniture and other decorative elements must be arranged to allow service of patrons solely within the cafe perimeter. Wait staff may not walk in the pedestrian clear path or in the active roadway to deliver food and drinks to outdoor tables.
